Health Protection 2008

Health Protection 2008 will focus on the latest scientific research and its practical application to key areas of health protection within:
Preventing and controlling infectious diseases
Protecting against radiation, chemical and environmental hazards
Preparing for potential or emerging threats to health

This conference will be attended by well over 1000 participants working across the breadth of health protection - from public health services and hospitals, environmental health, emergency planning, laboratories and research institutions.

As the showcase for the most innovative, cutting edge work in health protection, abstracts on new findings and developments to be considered for high quality oral presentations and posters will shortly be invited.

This leading multi-disciplinary health protection conference is hosted by the Health Protection Agency in partnership with other key organisations.
